About the Career Comeback Program  
  
Our 12-week Career Comeback program is designed to help talented professionals confidently re-enter the workforce. You’ll join us in a permanent role within Commonwealth Private’s Banking team while receiving wrap-around support, including:  

• A structured induction and re-onboarding experience  

• Personalised career coaching and mentoring  

• Professional development workshops to rebuild confidence and help you thrive from day one  

• A dedicated program manager to guide you through every stage  

• Flexible working arrangements to suit your lifestyle (e.g. part-time)

About the role  

We’re all about people and relationships - and that’s where you come in. As part of our ongoing growth, we’re looking for motivated, relationship-driven professionals who genuinely enjoy helping clients achieve their goals.  

To be successful in this role, you don’t need prior experience in Private Banking - or even banking. What matters most is your drive to build new business, your strong stakeholder engagement skills, and your commercial acumen. We’re looking for people-focused individuals who are proactive, relationship-driven, and eager to learn.  

This role offers flexibility to suit your lifestyle — whether you prefer to work 3, 4, or 5 days a week, you'll be supported by a fantastic team of Analysts who will ensure you’re well supported in a part-time capacity. 
 
As a Private Banker, you will: 

• Build and grow a portfolio of high-net-worth clients. 

• Provide tailored financial advice and solutions across wealth creation, protection and lending, with a focus on exceptional service and long-term relationships. 

• Collaborate with a network of internal and external partners to attract new clients and opportunities. 

• Deliver a client experience that reflects our promise of trusted advice and outstanding service. 

• Operate confidently within all relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks. 
     

We’re keen to hear from people who: 

• Have taken a career break of two years or more (essential) 

• Have strong relationship and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to communicate effectively and influence outcomes 

• Bring proven experience driving commercial results, and thrive in a client-focused environment 

• Come from backgrounds such as banking, finance, accounting, consulting, law, professional services, or similar industries, with solid commercial acumen and the ability to adapt quickly 

• Have some exposure to lending or credit (an advantage, but not essential) - we’ll provide the training and support to help you succeed 

• Are self-motivated and proactive, with a genuine enthusiasm for building networks, identifying opportunities, and delivering business growth
