Job Summary:

Our agency is looking for a professional that focuses on delivering exceptional customer service for clients. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, a team player, have a positive attitude, and eager to continuously expand their knowledge in the insurance field.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Explore all opportunities for exemplary service, working to maximize client/account retention, including coverage reviews; daily service; exploring opportunities for risk management; assist with presentation preparation and other client correspondence.

  • Develop the best insurance plan by exploring individual client coverage needs and placing according to carrier guidelines and ensuring competitive rates.

  • Manage the renewal and policy amendment process, with a focus on ensuring each transaction is comprehensive and seamless for clients.

  • Comply with agency standards, policies and procedures.

  • Demonstrate (by your personal example) a strong, positive, team-orientated approach through your interaction with others.

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; must possess and maintain an active P&C License(s) or be willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Experience Requirements:

  • Commercial P&C Experience Preferred.

  • Demonstrates ability to use Microsoft Office products proficiently, and comfort with computers, including web-based software programs.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must to ensure a strong relationship with clients through phone, email or in person.

  • Effective organizational interpersonal skills required to resolve problems, answer general questions and know when to escalate complex issues.
