Job Description:

The Senior Analyst supports the development and evaluation of UPS products and marketing strategies by gathering data, performing analyses, and translating insights into actionable recommendations. The role partners closely with internal subject matter experts and cross‑functional teams to identify information needs, understand customer requirements, and address key business issues. This position analyzes trends, synthesizes research, engages with customers, and leverages UPS reporting tools and secondary data sources to inform product decisions. The Senior Analyst summarizes and communicates findings in a clear, structured manner to stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

Data & Insight Development
  • Collects, structures, and analyzes product performance data to identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Performs data mining and advanced querying across multiple internal sources to uncover performance drivers and opportunities.
  • Builds analytical models and forecasting tools to estimate the impact of product initiatives and new concepts.
  • Creates recurring and ad‑hoc reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (e.g., ADV, RPP, adoption, revenue trends).

Strategic Analysis & Business Casing
  • Develops business cases by evaluating value drivers, defining success metrics, and quantifying financial and operational impacts.
  • Synthesizes analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations for leadership decision‑making.
  • Conducts market, customer, and competitive assessments to support product strategy and positioning.

Product Development & Execution
  • Supports product road‑mapping by defining requirements, organizing phases of work, and tracking progress against timelines.
  • Partners with Technology, Design, and other stakeholders to enable early‑stage product discovery and iterative concept testing.
  • Translates customer and user feedback into structured insights and product enhancement recommendations.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborates with Sales, Pricing, Operations, and Technology teams to address product‑related inquiries and ensure alignment.
  • Proactively communicates project status, insights, risks, and needs to leaders and stakeholders.
  • Assists with coordination of project timelines, deliverables, and cross‑functional workstreams.

Communication & Presentation
  • Develops high‑quality presentations that clearly convey insights, analysis, recommendations, and product proposals.
  • Prepares executive-ready materials that support strategic reviews and decision processes.

Technical Tools & Systems
  • Uses MS365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) to analyze, report, and visualize data.
  • Extracts and integrates data from UPS systems such as DWH, PRR, DIR, InfoLib, CDP, DRIVE, Seismic, and Planview.
  • Applies (or learns) entry-level SQL/Python to support data manipulation and analysis.

Product & Customer Understanding
  • Builds deep understanding of how UPS products are deployed and managed (e.g., GTM, pricing dynamics, operational constraints, revenue drivers).
  • Engages directly with customers through calls, forums, and programs to gather feedback and validate concepts.
  • Uses a hypothesis‑driven approach to problem solving, including rapid prototyping and low‑cost concept testing.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or international equivalent.
  • Master’s Degree or international equivalent in Marketing — Preferred.

Experience conducting analysis, including:
  • Leveraging diverse data‑sourcing methods across multiple systems.
  • Performing data mining and exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and insights.
  • Working with large, complex datasets to generate meaningful business findings.
  • Applying analytical frameworks to develop insights and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (Power BI preferred).
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn SQL and Python.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $84,900/year to $157,320/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
