Director PA Professional Development

In this role, the Director for Physician Assistant Professional Development is responsible in the development and maintenance of processes that support Physician Assistant education and professional development optimizing PA utilization at top of licenses meeting the requirements of state, federal and regulatory agencies. The Director for Physician Assistant Professional Development maintains professional competencies by attending educational programs and participating in professional organizations as well as networks with PA leaders nationwide.

 

Preferred Criteria

  • Master’s degree

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Degree or major in Certified Physician Assistant
  • Licensure as a Physician's Assistant by the State of New York
  • Licensure as a Physician's Assistant by the State of New York
  • National Commission Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA)
  • Minimum of 5 years of education experience and progressive leadership experience as a PA
  • Possess working knowledge of current clinical education and teaching principles
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Computer skills and Management Skills
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
