Summary:
As a Test Automation Lead, a typical day involves spearheading the evolution of testing practices to establish a seamless and efficient quality engineering process. This role focuses on enhancing the overall testing lifecycle by integrating advanced tools and methodologies that ensure precision and reliability. The position requires driving innovation in testing strategies to foster predictive and intelligent automation solutions, thereby elevating the quality standards and operational effectiveness across projects. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align testing objectives with business goals is a key aspect of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the adoption of continuous testing practices to improve delivery speed and quality.
- Mentor and support junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Drive innovation by identifying and implementing new testing tools and techniques.
- Ensure alignment of testing strategies with overall project and organizational objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- experience in automation testing. Strong knowledge of UI automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).Hands-on experience with REST API automation (Postman, RestAssured).Experience in data testing (SQL, data pipelines, ETL validation). Proficiency in Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps for CI/CD Programming skills in Java, Python, or C# for automation scripting.Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow). Understanding of test management & tools (JIRA, TestRail).


Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Automated Testing.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.

The candidate is required to work out of the Client Office in Kharadi, Pune for 3 days per week, as per the mandate.
