The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan is recruiting a full-time pathologist with cytopathology expertise. Pathologists with expertise in other pathology subspecialties are welcome to apply. Board certification or eligibility from the American Board of Pathology in AP/CP or AP is required, as well as fellowship training in Cytology. This position is located at the Troy Campus.

Annually, Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan Pathology and Laboratory Medicine performs approximately 150,000 surgical pathology accessions, 100,000 Pap tests and 22,000 non-gynecologic/FNA accessions. Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan is aligned with Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. There is a pathology residency, as well as fellowships in cytopathology, hematopathology, clinical chemistry and blood banking. Academic appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
