What You’ll Do:
Collaborates with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements. Conducts analysis to determine integration needs.
Designs new software and web applications, supports applications under development and customizes current applications. Develops software update process for existing applications. Assists in the roll-out of software releases.
Leads cross-functional technical design discussions
Trains junior Software Development Engineers on internally developed software applications.
Works with engineering managers, cross-team leads, product owners, and program managers on defining technical short and long-term strategy for engineering initiatives
Is responsible for the researching, writing and editing of documentation and technical requirements, including evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals and formal recommendations and reports.
Assists in technical roadmap planning and provides estimates regarding LOEs, feasibility, and risk.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand and incorporate business objectives into technical strategies while collaborating with downstream partners
Keeps current with technological developments within the industry. Monitors and evaluates competitive applications and products. Reviews literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects.
Provides technical leadership throughout the design process and guidance with regards to practices, procedures and techniques. Serves as a guide and mentor for junior level Software Development Engineers.
Triage and resolve urgent issues in our systems and collaborate with other leads to solve problems
Assists in supervising and evaluating performance metrics. Ensures team delivers software on time, to specification and within budget.
Works with Quality Assurance team to settle if applications fit specification and technical requirements.
Displays expertise in knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts and skills and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.
Displays expertise in process design and redesign skills. Presents and defends architectural, design and technical choices to internal audiences.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.

What You’ll Need:
7+ years working in front-end web development.
Extensive programming experience in HTML5 and CSS3.
Excellent JavaScript knowledge and programming experience with ES5/ES6 Proven understanding and development experience in a modern JavaScript framework such as Angular, React or Vue.
Experience with Typescript, NodeJS, NPM.
Experience with module bundlers such as Webpack.
Experience consuming and developing RESTful Web Services.
Experience writing unit tests (Jest, Jasmine, Karma or Chai).
Experience with client-side architecture and design patterns.
Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations Solid understanding and extensive experience with Git version control.
Experienced with the Agile/Scrum development model using Agile tools (e.g. Jira, Rally).
Team player. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with team members.
B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, etc. or equivalent work experience.
