JOB DESCRIPTION:
The SAP BTP Basis Consultant will be responsible for design, configuration, and support of SAP Business Technology Platform environments, ensuring seamless integration with on-premise and cloud-based SAP systems. The role focuses on maintaining platform stability, security, and performance while enabling scalable solutions across the SAP landscape.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and configure SAP BTP global accounts, subaccounts, and entitlements aligned with enterprise architecture.
Identify and activate required BTP Services for various scenarios.
Support and optimize BTP services such as SAP Integration Suite (CPI), SAP Build, Extension Suite, and SAP HANA Cloud.
Configure IAS and Active Directory/ Azure authentication mechanisms
Enable Platform authentication, Proxy authentication, Build workzone, Process Automation, etc
Enable connectivity between SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise platforms through BTP.
Collaborate with infrastructure to support hybrid landscapes (on-premise + cloud) using Cloud Connector and SSO.
Monitor platform health, performance, and capacity, proactively identifying risks and improvements.
Support transport management and lifecycle processes across BTP environments.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide sustainable resolutions.
Ensure compliance with governance, security, and audit requirements.
Work closely with developers, integration teams, data teams, and security stakeholders to enable reliable deployments.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
8 years of overall SAP experience
5 years of SAP BASIS experience
a minimum of 2+ years of experience as a BTP Admin
Hands-on experience with Integration Suite (CPI), HANA Cloud, and Extension Suite.
Solid understanding of Cloud Foundry, Kyma runtime, and subaccount architecture.
Experience in security configuration, certificates, and authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, X.509).
Understanding of hybrid SAP landscapes and cloud operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
SAP certification in SAP BTP or related technologies.
Experience in multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
