The Opportunity

Efficiently managing a team of skilled operational buyers and driving the execution of performance objectives, including timely procurement of materials, maintaining optimal stock levels, and ensuring on-time delivery for pro-duction to support seamless manufacturing processes and consistently meet production schedules.
 

How you’ll make an impact:

• Participate in daily management meetings with production, planning, and warehouse teams regarding material requirements, vendor delivery schedules, and the status of ongoing purchase orders;
• Participating in regular conference calls with suppliers, related to ongoing and upcoming purchases for the factory;
• Working to achieve 100% on-time supply of materials and maximum internal customer satisfaction;
• Collecting and analyzing data related to purchasing performance and supplier reliability;
• Ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials by liaising with other supporting functions such as planning and logistics;
• Developing and improving processes related to the operational purchasing function;
• Facilitating an efficient procurement process and maintaining a high level of pro-active collaboration within the team and with cross-functional partners.

Your background:

• Education – Bachelor’s degree. Technical field is an advantage;
• Experience in production and technological processes – minimum 1 year;
• Knowledge of English language – written and spoken;
• Knowledge and experience in working with MS Office, working with ERP/SAP systems is an advantage;
• Very good communication and analytical skills;
• Proactive approach and problem solving attitude.
