Midtown Athletic Club is seeking a skilled and energetic Seasonal Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual who excels in both bartending and food preparation. The Seasonal Bartender & Food Prep team member will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with food prep to ensure smooth operations during peak seasons. Additional duties include preparing food poolside and running food as needed. Rate of pay beginning at $15 per hour plus opportunity for tips.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and club standards.
• Engage with members and guests in a professional and friendly manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking and inventory management.
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients and basic food items to support kitchen operations.
• Prepare food poolside and run food as needed.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with sanitation and alcohol service regulations.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing business needs.
• Support additional tasks as assigned by management to ensure high-quality service and smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

• Prior bartending experience in a restaurant, club, or hospitality setting preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and handling.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid BASSET certification and ServSafe certification (or willing to obtain).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
