Job Description:

SAP ABAP Programmer with functional knowledge to perform ABAP programming, design, testing, and debugging work related to the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities
Works as a technical lead and with customer-nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks. Contributes to design for specific deliverables and assists in the development of technical solutions.
Participate as part of a team and maintain good relationships with members and customers. Understands DXC strategy and the role that the individual plays.
Uses knowledge tools and reuses information for the benefit of projects and professional development.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required: 6+ years of technical experience in SAP ABAP development and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study.
A Computer or Industrial Engineer Bachelor's or equivalent Degree.
ABAP Programming and software development knowledge (Reports, ALV, Function Modules, Classes, ABAP proxy).
ABAP For HANA experience (Fiori, CDS Views, AMDPs, Eclipse) – Certification in ABAP development is highly recommended.

Debugging and program performance tuning.
Has sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for the implementation of a specific deliverable. Able to contribute to the design of deliverables. Has the ability to perform/drive the resolution of problems on individual products.
Demonstrates understanding of assigned discipline or technical area. Demonstrate fundamental technical knowledge.
ITIL Process knowledge (a plus), Customer Service experience.
Experience leading projects from a technical perspective.
Strong research and troubleshooting skills.
Strong experience with customers in different locations.
English (at least 85%).
Work Environment
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
