So how can you contribute as part of the ShareFile team? We are searching for someone who can help us make a little magic for our customers and their clients every day. We want someone who is passionate about technology, highly skilled in React and React Native development, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. In the Sr. Software Engineer role, you will develop scalable, high-performance applications, guide the team with best practices, and significantly impact the efficiency and success of our products for customers and ShareFile.

Technical Competency

• Experienced Professional Position: Demonstrates a high level of expertise in React and React Native development.
• Moderately Complex Problem Solving: Works under limited supervision, effectively handling moderately complex problems.
• Coaching and Guidance: Provides coaching, guidance, and training to others in the job area, sharing best practices and technical knowledge.

People & Process

• Agile Methodology: Should be well versed with the Agile methodology.
• Continuous Improvement: Looks for process improvement opportunities that can accelerate team efficiency and facilitate high performance.
• Feedback and Improvement: Seeks regular feedback from peers and seniors to identify areas of improvement. Actively works on implementing this feedback to refine skills and work methods.

Basic Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with over 5 years of experience in web & mobile applications.
• At least a minimum of 2 years specifically in React Native development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including familiarity with ES6+ syntax.
• Extensive experience with Redux or MobX and a solid understanding of fundamental mobile development concepts.
• A strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals; Algorithms and Data structures.
• concepts such as lifecycle, UI, networking, caching, device features, etc
• Experience with databases, preferably SQLite, Firebase, or Realm.
• Good understanding of developing applications that run on both iOS and Android devices using React Native.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git/BitBucket).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Demonstrated experience in writing clean code in large codebases.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with micro-frontend architecture.
• Previous experience working with Cloud platforms; AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end automation testing.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Startup mindset – highly passionate, team player, high sense of urgency, willingness to roll up sleeves and ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced business.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
