We are looking for a highly motivated student or recent graduate to join our team!
Our Intern Program is designed to support the development of students and recent graduates for future positions by offering one-on-one mentoring, peer and experiential learning, internal training programs, and much more. We are currently accepting applications for undergraduate and master’s level students or recent graduates seeking the opportunity to work in the investment management space.
As an Intern on the Investment Operations, Continuous Improvement & Transformation team, you will play a key role in enhancing operational workflows and reporting processes by identifying improvement opportunities and delivering effective solutions. You will work with the Director to promote a culture of innovation and efficiency through data analytics and process automation, helping to modernize operational capabilities. Collaborating closely with various business units, you will help automate and streamline business processes and reporting, reducing risk and inefficiencies associated with manual workflows.
Responsibilities Include:
Assess and redesign existing processes for efficiency and effectiveness, collaborating with stakeholders to implement improvements.
Enhance Investment Operations’ service model by enriching, automating and delivering accurate investment data to key internal and external stakeholders.
Gather requirements, design and develop solutions, and conduct testing to streamline or create new processes aimed at improving data quality.
Partner with IT to design and execute initiatives that optimize data analytics and process automation using advanced tools and technologies.
Champion digital and analytical upskilling by sharing knowledge of modern technologies and tools.
Assist with departmental projects and operational efficiency initiatives, with a focus on automation and innovation.
What You Need to Succeed:
Working towards an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of financial markets and analytical skills for interpreting financial data.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for working with data applications.
Self-starter with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with Power Query and Power BI.
Familiarity with relational databases and programming languages such as SQL, VBA, or Python.

The base salary range for this position is CAD $45,000 to $65,000. The placement within the range is determined by the role and assessment of the candidate’s year of study and relevant work experience.
