Position Overview
As the Marketing and Web Specialist in Japan, you will work directly with the local head of marketing to showcase Saxo’s investment products and services to the Japanese public in an appealing and intuitive manner. You will strive to improve key KPIs such as #Visitors and #Leads by continuously enhancing our website and messaging for the Japanese audience. You will collaborate with the client inspiration journey owner and specialists to contribute to the client inspiration journey by providing timely, relevant, engaging, and actionable content on the website.
You will be curious and proactive in analyzing our client experience, our competition and proposing new ideas to improve #Visitors, #Leads, and the visitor-to-lead KPI. This includes analyzing website performance, key landing pages, campaigns, products, services, and terms and conditions pages.
You will also work closely with the Local Head of Marketing and global teams to improve SEO and enhance Saxo’s key selling points on affiliate and media websites.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute marketing plans for our website in alignment with overall business strategy, global journey guidance, and local office priorities.
Focus on maximizing lead volume and lead value through the website while minimizing cost per lead.
Scope, plan, and execute website-specific marketing initiatives in collaboration with HQ Marketing and Web Development teams.
Adapt global digital marketing campaigns and general website content to match local needs.
Conduct regular analysis of website performance using tools like Adobe Analytics and PowerBi dashboards.
Conduct ‘mystery shopping’ on our own and competitor websites to identify opportunities for journey performance enhancement.
Provide insights on local competition, digital media trends, and general website developments.
Work closely with UX, design, and copy teams as well as website managers to execute digital marketing campaigns or enhancement initiatives.
Create campaign pages, banners, and social media content in collaboration with the JP marketing head and client inspiration journey owner.
Improve the local website to increase the number of unique visitors and the visitor-to-lead ratio through continuous testing and experimentation.
Support client inspiration journey owner/specialist in showcasing our webinars and seminar online.
Ensure all website content complies with local regulatory requirements and is reviewed by local compliance and legal teams before publishing.
Follow digital marketing procedures and work instructions specific to website management.
Serve as the primary contact for the local office for all website-related communication and information sharing between global and local teams.
Skills Required
Proven track record of designing and deploying websites and webpages in Japanese and English.
Fluency in Japanese and English.
Experience analyzing website performance using analytical tools such as Adobe Analytics or similar providers.
Minimum 3 years of experience with Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and similar tools for website design.
Experience in designing campaign banners and brochures.
Prior experience using social media platforms like Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and YouTube to improve #Visitors, #Leads, #New Funded Clients, and #New Trading Clients.
Experience with marketing campaign planning, execution, and evaluation.
In-depth understanding of digital and offline marketing for client acquisition and lead generation.
Motivation to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with ambitious goals and an international team of talented colleagues
Qualifications
University Degree in Commerce, Science, or Engineering preferred.
TOEIC score of 900+.
