Manages the day-to-day operations related to Recovery, Operations & Correspondence (ROC) vendor activity.  Responsible for reporting activities related to Consumer Buybacks and Sales Tax Recovery.  Manages vendor and Dispute Resolution Team escalations related to Consumer Buyback vehicles.  Responsible for process improvements within internal departments, Regions, and outside vendors.  Coordinates activity for Sales Tax Recovery efforts in the USA for Nissan and Infiniti.

Job Responsibilities

Manage Sales Tax Recovery daily operations and team performance

Develop, administer, and supervise ongoing execution of Sales Tax Recovery processes

Implement tax strategies to optimize our company's recovery position and minimize rejections from state auditors while staying current on state statutes

Manage vendor, Dispute Resolution Team (DRT) and leadership staff relations and communications to include guidance and recommendations in the following areas:

                   - Reporting – develop agent tracking system for KPI performance

                   - Process improvement development and implementation

                   - Case cancellations and rejections

Analyze Dispute Resolution Team (DRT) Tools for process improvements including updating SOP’s, and develop and administer new hire training material for the DRT agents in relation to ROC team responsibilities

Coordinate vehicle disposition of Consumer Buyback vehicles for the following:

- Escalation process for surrenders (customer, dealer, Regions)

- Process improvement between vendor and customer/dealer/internal agents

- Special programs reporting and trend analysis

Project Management (implementation and maintenance) with ROC vendors for Sales Tax Recovery and Vehicle Disposition

                    

Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.  Includes training of other internal Consumer Affairs teams and external groups on ROC/Disposition/Sales Tax processes and priorities

Oversees vendor invoice management and budget tracking for Sales Tax Recovery

Conducts presentations to upper Management on Sales Tax Recovery and Vehicle Disposition quality initiatives

1. Job Knowledge and Skills:

Intermediate computer systems knowledge, strong analytical ability, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, effectively interface with internal and external departments.  Independent decision-making and strategic thinking.  Must be able to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously. Prior experience in supervisory, vendor management and financial institution processes.

2. Years of Experience:

Minimum of six years of directly related professional-level operational experience (this can include Headquarters, field and/or dealer experience). Must have experience in vendor management, project planning/management and training teams on initiatives in a global organization.

3. Education

Bachelor’s degree required

4. Specific Course/Certifications

Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Professional Suite with emphasis in Excel, other PC applications to resolve complex day to day situations.   

5. Travel Required

Occasional overnight travel - ability to travel to vendors, call centers and regional offices
