About the Team
We're a small, high-impact engineering team embedded inside the Go-To-Market organization. Our job is to make Bloomreach impossible to ignore in a sales cycle by using AI to build demo environments, automate work, and create self-serve tools for presales teams around the world.
We move fast, experiment constantly, and build things that end up in front of some of the world's largest retailers and brands. We care about craft, speed, reliability, and whether the field can actually use what we ship.
Bloomreach is seeking an AI Demo Engineer who is AI-native by instinct: a flexible software engineer who reaches for AI tools first, learns quickly, and uses technology to solve whatever problem is blocking the field.
This is not a traditional engineering role. You are not maintaining production systems or working through a standard product backlog - this is a 0-1 Builder role. You will start with ambiguous presales needs, prototype quickly, test with the field, and turn the best ideas into polished demos, automations, internal tools, and repeatable assets.
Our work helps the Go-To-Market team clearly articulate the value of Bloomreach’s platform to prospects and partners. You're building the machinery that lets a world-class presales team show rather than tell; configuring environments, creating agentic workflows, and shipping self-serve tooling that lets solution consultants spin up, customize, and run tailored demos of Bloomreach's full platform without coming back to you every time.
Some days that means building a demo experience. Other days it means automating a painful workflow, wiring tools together, creating a self-serve template, or using AI to move from vague idea to working prototype faster than a traditional process would allow.
You'll work closely with your team lead (based in the US), so strong async collaboration and ability to connect across time zones with EU and US teams are part of the job.
Build AI-powered demo experiences: Design and ship demos, prototypes, and interactive experiences that make Bloomreach's platform feel tangible and relevant.
Automate work using AI: Spot repeatable GTM work and turn it into useful automations, prompt patterns, internal tools, integrations, agents, skills, MCPs, SDK-powered workflows, or whatever else best saves time for the field.
Enable SC self-service: Build tools that let Solution Consultants configure, personalize, and run tailored demos without engineering intervention for every request.
Prototype fast and productize what works: Take loosely defined ideas, build quickly, test with the field, and decide what should become a durable internal product, accelerator, or demo asset.
Bring Loomi and Bloomreach AI to life: Use AI-assisted experiences, personalization, LLM integrations, and smart workflows to help prospects understand Bloomreach's value.
Train and enable the field: When you ship something new, you make sure the presales team knows how to use it. You document, demo the demo, and build internal confidence.
Keep demos reliable under pressure: Troubleshoot quickly, maintain customer-facing environments, and treat a broken demo in front of a prospect with urgency.
You do not need deep experience with every tool listed. The stronger signal is that you learn quickly, stay current as the AI landscape changes, and use AI itself to close gaps in your own experience.
Within the first 30-60 days: You have ramped up on Bloomreach's platform story, Loomi AI, the demo ecosystem, and shipped your first AI-assisted prototype.
After 60-90 days: At least one AI-powered demo, automation, self-serve workflow, or internal tool is being used by Solution Consultants or Demo Engineering.
By 6 months: You have helped create a repeatable AI-assisted demo toolkit. SCs can personalize and run more demos independently, manual work is reduced, and the field trusts the tools you built.
You'll have a direct, visible impact on revenue. What you build influences growth, enterprise deals, and how some of the world's largest retail brands understand Bloomreach.
You'll work at the intersection of AI, software engineering, commerce, and storytelling, with room to use modern AI tools aggressively while staying grounded in what helps the field win.
