Job Responsibilities
Lead architecture, design, and delivery of critical backend components.
Drive high-quality technical decisions ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Define technical roadmaps, including modernization and tech-debt reduction strategies.
Ensure production readiness, performance optimization, and efficient resolution of operational and customer issues.
Collaborate with product, QE, SRE, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality features.
Establish strong engineering guidelines across coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Evaluate new technologies, build prototypes, and drive innovation initiatives.
Contribute across the SDLC—architecture, development, reviews, documentation, deployment, and support.
Work effectively in a collaborative, distributed, and dynamic environment.
Apply sound design principles to build maintainable, high-quality, and scalable systems.
What you will need to succeed
4-6 years of programming experience with C++ and good to have Java knowledge. It's a full-stack developer role leaning more toward back-end development.
B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science with strong academic background or equivalent industry experience..
Solid understanding of data systems: MySQL/Postgres, Kafka, and event-driven architectures.
Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices.
Strong programming, debugging, and analytical problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to make architectural decisions, evaluate trade-offs, and define long-term technical direction.
Experience planning and reducing technical debt while maintaining system scalability and maintainability.
Experience with production systems, performance tuning, observability, and handling blocking issues reported by customers.
Demonstrated ability to lead innovation, drive engineering improvements, and adopt new technologies.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-team collaboration skills.
Experience mentoring engineers and guiding technical execution.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
