Growth Coordinator, Commercial & Industrial Energy Efficiency Programs  
Location: Reston, VA - This is a local position that would require the hired employee to report to our Reston, VA ICF office 4 - 5 days of the week (potential for very limited travel for program support)

Come join our team in a new position as a Growth Coordinator supporting commercial and industrial energy efficiency projects across the US and Canada. The Growth Coordinator role will provide support to subject matter experts (SME) as the team contributes to business development (BD) efforts, stands up new programs, evolves existing offerings, and develops new offerings.  
You will build relationships and gain expertise working alongside the SME, business development leaders and local delivery teams as you make contributions to regular regional BD meetings and work together on proposals and new offerings.

What you will be doing:  

  • Provide support for business development opportunities, including attending BD meetings, working with SME to align client needs with our best offerings, and doing research that contributes to evolving current offerings and developing new offerings.  
  • Meet regularly with SME to ensure our team is contributing to higher client satisfaction and ICF growth.  
  • Over time, provide insights to ensure that programs run efficiently and effectively and constantly respond to changing market conditions.   
  • Collaborate with regional teams to provide division-wide cohesiveness and bring efficiency & best practices to your client’s programs.   

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):   

  • Bachelor's Degree in Energy, Business Admin, Communication, Liberal Arts, or related fields (or applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education)
  • 2+ years of professional work experience with business development, proposal development, offering development and/or related experience

What we would like you to have (preferred qualifications): 

  • Experience in energy efficiency or demand response programs
  • Experience consulting projects for utilities, state energy offices, state/local governments, and/or regional non-profits
  • Experience working in a group or team setting, potentially in an office-based setting  
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills   
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.   
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.   
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.   
  • Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for a senior management team.   
  • Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.   
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.   
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$73,770.00 - $125,408.00
