About the Opportunity:

We have a newly created role for an experienced Practice Manager to join St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba on a casual basis, supporting a new Cardiology Practice.   In this role you will provide efficient and effective management of the specialist medical practice, including achieving financial and quality indicators within an environment of person-centred care and in accordance with the ethos, philosophy, mission, values and ethics of St Vincent’s Health Australia.

Things that work for us:

  • At least 2 years previous experience as a Practice Manager or similar position

  • Ability to work on a casual basis

  • Proven ability to manage small business/office including human resources, planning, and budgeting.

  • Broad based administrative experience with attention to detail. 

  • Ability to manage practice software packages including billings, bookings and medical administration functions.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and preparing medical correspondence. 

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications

  • Ability to maintain collaborative and effective relationships with all multidisciplinary team members. 

  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to remain focused in a busy environment. 

  • Self-motivated and well organised, ability to work unsupervised and oversee the management of other Practice staff.

  • Ability to provide efficient delivery of administration services to patients and their families and specialist medical practitioners.
