Overview of Position

The Quality Specialist supports the Operations Center by inspecting and verifying the accuracy of transactions performed by individuals and automated systems. This role involves performing thorough Quality Control reviews designed to maintain high standards of quality and compliance. The insights gained from these reviews are used to provide constructive feedback, support individual growth, and guide training efforts. This focus on accuracy not only enhances performance but also significantly improves the overall customer experience. What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Operates within a dynamic, multi-functional environment that encompasses various service levels, diverse client system platforms, and a range of internal operating systems
  • Meticulously inspects transactions to identify inaccuracies or deviations from procedures while operating in a multi-client environment with unique service requirements for each client
  • Applies strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions in alignment with quality control procedures
  • Applies excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively provide feedback and communicate trends or findings to management
  • Provides support for ongoing Quality Control initiatives to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to standards
  • Assists in calibration sessions as needed to maintain consistency and accuracy in quality assessments
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently while adhering to departmental procedures and consistently maintaining required performance metrics
  • Effectively manages time to consistently meet deadlines
  • Maintains confidentiality

What are the requirements for this position?

  • High School Diploma
  • 3 years of Commercial and Residential Insurance related experience or similar Quality Control activity outside the organization

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Adaptability and Flexibility
  • Familiarity with systems: AssurTrack, Integrity, PMS, CRM, Salesforce, KwikWorks, AssurTrack SFDC
  • Familiarity with Assurant Specialty and Assurant Renters Solutions products and services
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, OneNote, and OneDrive

What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?

  • This is a fully remote position
  • Must be able to remain in stationary position during shift
  • Requires the use of a company issued computer for the duration of your shift
  • Traveling is not a requirement

Pay Range:

$18.23 - $29.17

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
