Xylem is seeking a passionate and driven External Sales Team member to join the NSW Sales Team based remotely/work from home serving our Regional Western NSW Municipal Customers. In this External Sales role, you will support the company's key growth initiatives; capitalise on our product portfolio to build and maintain deep customer relationships in the area as well as identify and secure new business opportunities. 

The role:

• Creating and implementing a sales plan, formulated with the Sales Manager to achieve growth, targets, and profit.
• Undertaking sales visits to customers
• Promotes service, spare parts rental, and contract functions.
• Prepares sales orders, reports, and paperwork to satisfy branch and customer requirements
• Provide input to the Sales team, attend Sales meetings, and complete written and verbal reports as required by the Sales Manager including all requirements of the CRM usage.
• Ensures all pricing policies are followed and ensures compliance with Xylem Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance policies and procedures.

About you:

• Experience in a technical sales role in solution selling
• Professional sales experience in a utility, engineered product, or mining/industrial environment(preferable)
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a customer focus
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills
• Ability to travel frequently with a current driver's license
• Previous work experience in the water industry
• Water Industry application experience/knowledge
