This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.
Organization & Team Overview
The Comcast Texas Region Marketing Team is dedicated to creating and executing impactful marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, new subscribers, customer engagement, and community impact across our serviceable footprint. This team supports a diverse range of initiatives spanning sponsorship activation, social media, community relations, and customer appreciation initiatives. As part of this innovative and results-driven group, the Marketing Intern will gain insight into Comcast’s strategic marketing efforts and help build brand loyalty within one of the most dynamic regions for Comcast.

As a Marketing Intern for Comcast’s Texas Region, you’ll work side-by-side with industry leaders, tackling exciting, high-impact projects that bring our brand to life across one of Comcast’s fastest growing regions. This hands-on experience will equip you with essential marketing skills in event coordination, sponsorship activation, customer experience, and community engagement, all while you build a valuable professional network and gain insights into the inner workings of a top-tier media company. What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
Driving Community Engagement / Network Expansion: Contribute to the planning and execution of community initiatives that align with Comcast’s growth and expansion in the Texas Region.
Analyzing Competitor Strategies: Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to provide insights that can influence Comcast’s marketing approach and help maintain a competitive edge.
Evaluating Campaign Effectiveness: Assist in tracking and analyzing key performance metrics for digital and event marketing campaigns, providing insights on customer sentiment, engagement, and return on investment to inform future strategies.
Supporting Event & Activation Logistics: Tackle logistical challenges in organizing customer and community events, gaining experience in event planning, vendor coordination, and on-site management.

Brand Awareness: Help drive brand awareness in the Texas region by supporting high-impact marketing campaigns and customer engagement strategies that introduce and reinforce Comcast’s value propositions.
Community Relations: Play an integral role in Comcast’s community engagement initiatives, ensuring a positive presence in local communities and strengthening Comcast’s reputation as we grow and expand our region’s footprint.
Campaign Performance and Strategy: Provide valuable input on the effectiveness of ongoing campaigns through data collection and analysis, directly impacting future marketing decisions and resource allocation.
Customer Loyalty Initiatives: Help enhance customer loyalty programs and initiatives that deepen the relationship between Comcast and its customers, supporting long-term growth and retention.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work across teams to bring marketing campaigns to life, building important relationships and learning how various departments contribute to Comcast’s overall goals and success.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of regional marketing campaigns and events.
Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance metrics to measure effectiveness.
Conduct competitor analysis to provide insights on industry trends and market opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative marketing solutions – both for new customers and existing customers (Xfinity Rewards).
Attend team meetings and contribute to project planning discussions.
Network and collaborate with mentors and leaders to expand professional development.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Previous intern program participant or prior experience as Comcast intern preferred
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)
Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Base Pay: $24.00Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
