Summary
The Data Manager – Finance will play a critical role in driving finance data activities for large-scale SAP deployments. This role partners closely with business and finance teams to ensure high-quality data readiness, effective data migration, and seamless integration across systems, while coordinating with central data, process, and programme teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

Work closely with business stakeholders and FBT finance teams to drive all finance-related data activities for SAP deployments.
Lead data cleansing, validation, and enrichment activities, providing detailed analysis and clear guidance to business users.
Coordinate data design, data models, and business requirements with central data and process teams.
Collaborate with central programme resources to support ETL activities and ensure alignment with Data Conversion (DC) cycles.
Plan, manage, and track all finance data activities in line with overall project milestones and deployment cycles.
Coordinate with dependent teams on finance data integration activities across systems and processes.
Ensure data readiness, quality, and compliance to support successful global deployments.


Professional & Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience in SAP finance data migration and transformation activities.
Deep understanding of end-to-end finance processes and related master and transactional data.
Experience working on large-scale SAP implementations and global rollouts.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
Proven experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams.


Functional & Technical Skills

SAP Finance (FI) process and data expertise.
Data migration lifecycle knowledge, including data profiling, cleansing, enrichment, validation, and reconciliation.
Experience working with ETL tools and data conversion frameworks in SAP environments.
Understanding of integration touchpoints between finance and other enterprise systems.
Familiarity with global deployment models and multi-country finance data requirements.


Leadership & Soft Skills

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across geographies.
Ability to lead data-related discussions with business users and technical teams.
Proactive, structured, and detail-oriented approach to planning and execution.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a matrixed, multi-vendor environment.
Comfortable working under tight timelines and managing multiple priorities.


Additional Information

Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP data migration projects, preferably in finance-focused implementations.
Proven track record of working on global, large-scale deployments with multiple stakeholders and partners.
Experience in finance transformation or ERP programs is highly desirable.
