We’re a fast-growing marketplace business looking for a new customer-obsessed teammate to join us on this exciting journey.

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll help us build an exceptional, highly engaging, and intuitive experience for Mudflap’s current and future web applications.

This position requires working onsite at our Palo Alto, CA headquarters twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. 

Expectations (In this role, you will):

  • Be an excellent problem solver, self starter and collaborator on building Mudflap’s web products
  • Be a key player in driving the design direction for Mudflap’s current and future web applications
  • Demonstrate a command of interactive design and visual design
  • Drive the design process all the way to the finish line, from concepting, wireframing, and prototyping, to execution and QA
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members in Product, Design, Engineering, and Marketing to discuss and create design solutions
  • Translate complex design concepts into delightful, intuitive user experiences
  • Improve and maintain the current design system, libraries and patterns, adapting to modern design standards

Experience (What we look for):

  • At least 7+ years of experience in interaction design and B2B or B2C web applications and mobile applications
  • Comfortable with conducting user research and interviews
  • A mindset for user-centered design
  • Experience in a hyper-growth environment, with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work efficiently
  • Proficiency in Figma and Zeplin and other design tools
  • Able to understand code at a basic level (HTML, CSS) and a technical understanding of different platforms and devices
  • Skilled in prototyping
  • Experienced in A/B testing

The salary range for this role is $165,000 - $200,000. This information reflects a base salary range for this position based on current market data, which may be subject to change as new market data becomes available. The candidate's skills, experience, and other relevant factors will determine the exact compensation. This position may also be eligible for additional incentives such as equity awards or short-term incentives. Our benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, WFH stipend and PTO.
