Roles:

• Provide technical input to prepare business cases for PVC, CPVC and OPVC Pipes.
• Provide specifications for Extrusion lines including its downstream equipment like Belling m/c’s, CNC Lathe, Slotting etc.
• Technical evaluation of suppliers, for brown / green field projects machinery supply.
• Support Installation, commissioning, stabilization of Extrusion lines as per committed timeline across locations in close collaboration with OEM, procurement, project, and plant team.
• Review Formulation and monitor Compounding process for new projects.
• Establish pipe production by streamlining process with required through put and quality in collaboration with OEM and plant team.
• Provide technical support to PAN India plants for Operational excellence initiatives aiming to increase OEE, throughput, reduce waste, improve quality.  
• Ideate cost saving opportunities through Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE) methodology and driving the project implementation including plant trials and validation process with Management of Change, PCN, ECN etc.
• Implement modern technologies in Extrusion lines for improved performance.

Key Performance Indicator:

• New Projects Execution with specified cost, quality and timeline.
• Building PVC capacity in existing/new locations/ subcon locations.
• VA/VE implementation across locations.

Qualifications:

• Diploma / BE /B-Tech in Mechanical/Chemical/ Plastics or Polymer Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience specifically in pipe extrusion processes.
• Strong technical knowledge of plastics extrusion machines, die design, material properties, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify, troubleshoot production issues effectively and resolve process inefficiencies.  
• People management skills, including leadership and communication.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and quality control procedures.
• Proactive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• ISO/IMS documentation and process.

Preferred Skills:

• Pipe Extrusion Process
• Understanding of ISO, ASTM, and other quality standards related to CPVC/PVC extrusion.
• Compounding and Thermoplastic material behavior.
• Leadership, People Management.
• Computer Documentation (MS Office-Excel, Word, etc…).
