Position Summary
Head of Strategy & Innovation Part within Product & Marketing Group is a key strategic position responsible for leveraging extensive data analysis on product, customer, and competitor trends to inform and drive business development. The Head of Strategy and Innovation in Mobile will also lead the creation of new sell-out platforms and promotional schemes to enhance market performance and profitability.Role and Responsibilities
1. Data Analysis & Insights: Lead the analysis of comprehensive data sets to drive strategic decisions. This includes:
o Internal Data: Analyzing product sell-out trends, channel stock levels, and profitability (P&L analysis).
o Customer & Market Data: Studying customer behavior, retention, and switching patterns, as well as the efficiency of various promotions.
o Competitive Intelligence: Conducting competitor sell-out and price analysis to maintain market leadership.
2. Strategic Planning & Business Development: Use data-driven insights to develop and execute new business strategies and initiatives. This involves:
o Insight Sourcing: Collaborating with other departments to provide actionable insights that fuel business growth.
o Platform Development: Oversee the development and management of value-added sell-out platforms, such as:
3. Innovation & Leadership: Identify new opportunities for growth and lead the implementation of innovative projects.
4. Cross-functional Leadership: Manage and inspire teams while collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution.
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
· Experience: Proven experience in a strategic or analytical role within the technology, telecommunications, or consumer electronics industry, specifically in the mobile sector.
· Analytical Prowess: Exceptional ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate findings into clear, actionable business strategies.
· Business Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L management, sales channels, and market dynamics.
· Innovation: A track record of developing and launching new business initiatives or platforms that have driven significant growth.
· Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various teams and influence senior leadership.
· Education: A bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
