Are you a recent law graduate with an interest in competition law and antitrust?
Do you enjoy analysing legal decisions and working accurately with detailed information?
About the role
We are looking for a Legal Content Analyst to join our core editorial team. This hands-on role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a strong background in competition law. You will work with global merger control and antitrust materials, reviewing source documents, extracting and validating legal data, and ensuring accuracy and consistency across our content. The role suits someone who enjoys working with large volumes of legal information, is highly detail-oriented, and can work accurately under pressure. Strong legal training, clear communication skills, and a willingness to learn are essential; prior editorial experience is not required.
About the Team
You will join a small, specialist team responsible for maintaining and developing the Caselex platform. The team works closely together to assess competition law publications from around the world, extract and structure legal data, and ensure timely, high‑quality updates to the platform. The role supports the team’s day‑to‑day operations, enabling more senior team members to focus on higher‑complexity and higher‑value content development.
Responsibilities
Support competition law content projects, with a focus on merger control and antitrust;
Research, develop, and expand global merger control content, including new jurisdictions on Caselex;
Review legal decisions and primary sources to identify, extract, and verify key data points (e.g. market definitions, remedies);
Work with structured legal datasets to ensure content quality, consistency, and completeness;
Assist with data extraction and analysis related to antitrust cases;
Carry out proofreading, quality checks, and ongoing content maintenance;
Collaborate with internal teams and external editors/contributors;
Support internal initiatives and reporting, and stay up to date with competition law trends.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in competition law, corporate law, or business law;
Clear academic exposure to competition law, with a genuine interest in merger control and antitrust;
Excellent English (C2 level or equivalent);
Solid attention to detail, including comfort with repetitive, accuracy‑critical work and good proofreading skills;
Ability to understand, analyse, and work with complex competition law materials, identifying relevant legal and factual information;
Solid organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines without sacrificing accuracy;
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders;
Basic Excel skills, a good ability to learn quickly, and adaptability to new subject matter and processes; additional language skills are welcome.
Recruitment process
As part of the hiring process, shortlisted candidates will complete a practical assessment designed to test their ability to work with competition law materials and legal data. Final-round candidates will be invited to a second-round interview in person, so we can assess both role fit and team fit.
