MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:

The Therapy Specialist (TS) has the responsibility (within a defined region of S. Korea) to meet the sales target and develop the SH products and therapy and achieve the commercial therapy objectives by managing the TMTI accounts and activating the referral networks within the region.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Proctoring

  • Be proctor certified according to the Abbott SH training process
  • Provide technical support to clinicians during Amplatzer procedures
  • Assist cathlab personnel with set-up and break-down for procedures and with product handling/inventory management

Account Management

  • Manage account to meet the sales target and KOL engagement to find needs.
  • Collaborate with account to provide optimal clinical outcomes for the patients.

Distributors management

  • Manage distributor selection, termination and stock level by division's regulation and  recommendation
  • Collaborate sales activity for maximize opportunities

Business Development

  • Identifying new business opportunities and cooperating with Accounts and Business Partners (distributors) on opening new Accounts and promoting Therapy Development in respective countries
  • Supporting Division Manager on collecting data from the Accounts and Business Partners, helping with sales forecasting and business case development and presentation & Support Division Manager in commercial negotiations with Accounts and Business Partners

Patient Recruitment / referral

  • Proactively screening patients with sonographers and echocardiologists to ensure that site personnel have the skills required to determine patient eligibility.
  • Call on referring physicians to present the Amplatzer LAA and PFO technology and the study data on a regular base.

Patient Selection

  • Keep medical team informed about patient selection criteria; Share own experience with physicians in order to help them to refine their patient selection

Data & therapy info dissemination

  • Execution of data dissemination during “clinical campaigns” after each big congress
  • Update all therapy stakeholders with the latest therapy info; Implement field based physician and staff training programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Preferred medical devices industry experience and cardiology field experiences +5 years
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and verbal
  • Good communication skills and be a sound ethical character
  • Team and solution oriented with the customer needs as a driver
  • Customer focused, and service minded
