About the Job

As our Finance Retail Analyst (m/f/d), you'll play a key role in helping shape the financial performance of Levi Strauss & Co.'s retail business. Working closely with Finance, Commercial, Planning and Expansion teams, you'll provide insightful analysis, forecasting and reporting that supports strategic decision-making across a diverse portfolio of stores. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys translating complex data into meaningful business insights and influencing decisions in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Preparation of the quarterly and annual financial forecasts, including working with commercial and planning teams to produce accurate financial forecasts for revenue, gross margin and store specific operating expenses  
• Support new store openings and existing store refits by providing financial analysis on future scenarios to the Expansion team
• Deliver insightful monthly financial reporting to upper management to provide clear understanding of key drivers of retail business performance, while highlighting risks and opportunities to deliver the forecast
• Support the monthly/quarterly financial close process by ensuring all accruals for retail net revenue and operating expenses are recorded properly
• Provide financial support for store portfolio of 100+ stores across multiple business models, through fleet reviews, impairment analysis, capex review, etc.
• Provide ad hoc retail financial analysis

About You

• Experienced Financial or Business analyst, preferably in the Retail sector
• University degree in Finance or business administration or several years of industry experience
• Ability to translate complex financial information into easy-to-understand presentations, reports and concepts
• Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset
• Good understanding of the P&L and B/S under US GAAP
• Very good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong Excel skills essential
• SAP and Essbase experience preferred
• Well organized and structured, able to manage competing deadlines
• Ability to work cross functionally and build solid relationships with business partners

This is a hybrid position that can be based in either our Offenbach or Barcelona office. You will be expected to work from the office three days per week, although office attendance may vary depending on business needs.

The expected salary range for this role is €52,300 - €69,600 gross per annum in Germany and €35,400 - €47,200 gross per annum in Spain. The amount an employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance, and our needs.
