As a Driver / Material Handler at Boston Dynamics, you will help to strengthen our world-class service and support efforts to meet the demands of our global customers. Every day, you will work to support our manufacturing and building operations teams by transporting material in our company owned box truck between our three sites in Waltham, MA. To thrive in this role, you must have exceptional attention to detail and a clean driving record. Our ideal candidate must have the skills, experience, and willingness to pivot tasks on a daily basis.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Operate our company owned box truck and cargo van on a daily basis to transfer parts & equipment between Boston Dynamics facilities. 

• Complete local pickups and deliveries as needed. 

• Assist in day-to-day functions of the warehouse operations while following safety practices.

• Maintain accurate checklists and delivery logs.

• Loading/unloading of materials at designated sites utilizing appropriate equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts. 

• Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, material handling practices, and load securement policies

• Communicate with the logistics team and internal customers for accurate, on-time delivery.
   

Minimum Requirements

• Valid driver's license and DOT Medical Card.

• High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.

• Prior commercial driving experience.

• Forklift certification preferred but not required. 

• Ability to lift packages/cases weighing up to 65 pounds.

• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
