Job Description:

SUMMARY: Responsible for cleaning and resetting tables, monitoring tables for customer needs and duties requested by supervisory personnel, in an efficient courteous manner displaying a high standard of customer services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members. Perform excellent customer service at all times. Responsible for clearing all tables, resetting them for new seating; ensuring tables are set in accordance with venue standards and customers achieving a pleasurable dining experience. Responsible for approaching newly seated customers, serving them bread, butter, water etc. in a courteous manner. Assists in servicing the customers throughout their meal, observing the customers for any requests for service, clears all dishes from the table after customers are through eating, continually providing them with a clean, neat eating area. Assist Venue Host, Supervisors and Kitchen Staff in maintaining a smooth and efficiently operations. Maintains cleanliness of all self-service stations, food stations, and side stations; including but not limited to: stocking plates, cups, glasses, and silverware. Maintains compliance with all regulations of health and sanitation standards; to include maintaining a valid food handler card. Keep all condiments filled on tables. Keep all soda, milk, juices stocked on self-service stations. Helps maintain restaurant cleanliness. Responsible for maintaining a regular and consistent attendance record. Maintains a cleanliness of all side stations; responsible for stocking. Any reasonable request made by management. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED preferred. One to three months related experience and/or training. SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or Team Members of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, and walk. The Team Member is frequently required use hands an finger, handle, or feel; reaching, pulling with hands and arms; talk or hear; occasionally the Team Member will be squatting, sitting, climb or balance. The Team Member must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the Team Member will be exposed to a smoke-filled environment.
