This leader ensures that N&T operates with disciplined business processes, transparent performance reporting, structured program management, and durable operational controls. Our VP of Business Process incubates and scales cross-functional programs, develops and enforces process standards, and partners closely with peer organizations (Digital Transformation, Finance, Business Support, Operations, etc.) to drive cohesive, data-driven decision-making and long-range strategic execution.

This role reports to the Chief Technology Officer and serves as the central point of coordination for non-system-related business optimization, governance, process maturity, and executive visibility across N&T.

  • Establish and maintain standardized program documentation, controls frameworks, and governance cadences.

  • Drive annual operating planning processes for N&T in partnership with Finance and executive leadership.

KPI Reporting & Executive Visibility

  • Develop and manage KPI frameworks aligned to operational, financial, service, and transformation objectives.

  • Provide recurring executive-level reporting packages for the CTO and senior leadership.

  • Implement standardized scorecards across N&T functions to ensure consistent measurement and accountability.

  • Identify systemic performance trends and escalate risks or gaps with data-driven recommendations.

Process Design, Standardization & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead process mapping, documentation, and standardization efforts across N&T.

  • Minimize operational silos by improving system, data, and workflow handoffs across functions.

  • Develop and roll out durable standards and best practice documentation to ensure clarity and repeatability.

  • Establish control standards and governance checkpoints to improve predictability and accountability.

  • Utilize structured methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.

Cross-Functional & Matrix Leadership

  • Build strong relationships and drive buy-in across peer organizations without direct authority.

  • Partner with Digital Transformation, Finance, Business Support, and Operations to align enterprise initiatives.

  • Coordinate with Network Tools & Automation to ensure business requirements translate effectively into systems improvements.

  • Influence stakeholders to move to action quickly on high-impact priorities.

Strategic Planning & Long-Range Execution

  • Support development and execution of longer-range N&T strategic goals.

  • Test new business approaches through rapid iteration and controlled pilots.

  • Collect and synthesize stakeholder feedback to inform continuous improvement efforts.

  • Assess competing priorities and maintain focus on highest-impact initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field required.

  • Master’s degree preferred (MBA or equivalent strongly desired).

Experience

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience in telecommunications, technology, or infrastructure-based industries.

Skills
