The Disney Advertising portfolio covers world leading brands within The Walt Disney Company's entertainment segment and related film, television, and streaming businesses.  This includes family favorites Disney, Pixar, Marvel, & Lucasfilm, general entertainment networks ABC, Star, & FX, sports leader ESPN, iconic factual brand National Geographic, and our flagship streaming product, Disney+. 

 

Within Disney Advertising EMEA, Business Operations serves as the core sales support group, ensuring strategic alignment and operational efficiency. Key functions include media planning & campaign management (Client Services), ad tech & vendor oversight (Automated Operations), and forecasting & reporting (Revenue & Yield Management). These teams define policies, build processes, enable capabilities, and manage daily workflows that support Sales success. 

 

The Digital Account Executive is an important Client Services role within the London-based EMEA ad sales and operations organization, working alongside an experienced and diverse set of sales people We are seeking a candidate with experience in an advertising role, who is looking to hone their expertise in media planning, account management, and ad operations. The role will specifically focus on supporting our National Geographic Ad Sales business, which works closely with clients to produce compelling branded content across a global portfolio of media platforms. 

 

Designed to maximize revenue, drive operational efficiency, and provide top tier sales and partner support, the Client Services team plays a vital role in reaching our targets and maintaining high standards in relationships with advertisers and agencies The role holder will be responsible for managing all elements of the campaign lifecycle, from planning to invoicing. They will be expected to work both independently, as well as in collaboration with the Digital Account Manager, depending on the complexity and value of campaign This includes external communication and management of clients, plus collaboration with a variety of internal groups across Sales, Editorial, Technology, Finance, and Accounting It begins with pre-sale guidance and media planning, and continues through campaign set up, analysis, optimization, reporting, and invoicing, covering all forms of advertising activity across our digital and social properties.  

 

The successful candidate will have a basic understanding of the digital media landscape and experience in managing advertising campaigns. They will be comfortable prioritizing multiple incoming requests with overlapping deadlines. Our support team strives for flawless execution, but when challenges inevitably arise, the Account Executive will be quick and creative in working with the team to find solutions Above all, they are natural problem solvers with an instinctive desire to provide top tier client service.    

 

This role will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home.

What You Will Do 

  • Provide pre-sale guidance and technical requirements for advertising opportunities across TWDC’s on and off-platform digital portfolio 

  • With support from Digital Account Manager, work with Sales and buyers to build and revise media plans that maximize revenue and meet client objectives 

  • Responsible for the collection, quality control review, and implementation of assets to ensure a timely and accurate campaign launch 

  • Compile screen shots, provide reporting, execute creative swaps, and field all other client requests during the campaign lifecycle 

  • Collaborate with Technology, Product, and Editorial teams to troubleshoot and execute campaigns 

  • Track key metrics and work closely with Account Manager to  analyse reporting and identify opportunities to optimise campaign performance 

  • Ensure full delivery of contracted revenue across your book of business 

  • Work with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure accurate invoicing and revenue tracking 

  • Assist with client retention by delivering the highest standard of service during pre, mid, and post-campaign support phases  

  • Proactively seek to advance personal knowledge and understanding of TWDC’s commercial products and opportunities

  • Collaborate with other Client Services team members, supporting an assigned advertising hub 

 

Required Qualifications & Skills  

  • Graduate level or equivalent experience 

  • Proven advertising/marketing agency or vendor experience required 

  • Experience supporting internal or external clients and/or agencies

  • Good understanding of the advertising industry, the relationship between clients, media agencies, and media owners, and the associated process of translating marketing strategies into media campaigns.  

  • Familiarity with the management of advertising campaigns across any channel, with display, social, video or content marketing experience preferred. 

  • Basic competency in order management and/or ad-serving systems with experience in Operative1, Google Ad Manager, and/or Meta Business Manager being an added advantage. 

  • Demonstrated experience managing one or more stages of the campaign lifecycle, including: planning, booking, campaign set-up and management, reporting and optimisation, and invoicing. 

  • Familiarity working with a range of internal and external stakeholders, with varying needs and priorities. 
     

  • Highly motivated and driven problem solver

  • Great attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to effectively prioritize and balance multiple campaigns simultaneously 

  • Natural desire to provide top tier support and service 

  • Analytical; able to review, assess, and strategize based on the results
