The Client Relationship Manager - Corporates is responsible for the client relationship, retention and price yield and together with the Sales Specialist, will be growing the Book of Business (BOB) for our ONESOURCE Corporate Solutions within Japan. You are also responsible for driving usage and ensuring new clients are effectively on-boarded.

About the role
In the role of Client Relationship Manager - Corporates, you will:

  • Develop a book of business focusing on client engagement
  • Own renewals and ensure price yield achieved for designated accounts
  • Identify and refer cross-sell/upsell opportunities to Sales Specialists and identify and prevent flight risk customers.
  • Ensure new clients are on-boarded seamlessly
  • Develop and executes on plans to drive usage and retention
  • Identify customer training needs and coordinates with Training Specialist to deliver
  • Educate customers on the product benefits over competitors
  • Keeps management in touch with accounts in a timely fashion, gathers intelligence on competitor activity and gives feedback to other internal stakeholders.
  • Accurate forecasting and reforecasting and reporting and strong account and territory planning including Salesforce discipline and maintenance
  • Relevant product knowledge to ensure product can be renewed, cross-sell/upsell opportunity identified and maximise usage
  • Refer technical issues to Support, Order Management and/or Credit to ensure resolution


Key deliverables

  • Delivers / overachieves on retention target
  • Ensures Net Promoter Score and Ease of Doing Business scores are achieved
  • Grows book of business through retention and price yield and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities


About You
You’re a fit for the role of Client Relationship Manager - Corporates if you have:

  • Experience in software account management, prior experience in trade/logistics or tax solutions is a plus
  • Have a strong track record in reaching retention targets and growing a Book of Business.
  • Customer obsession and well developed communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Fluent in Japanese and business proficient English language skills.
  • Salesforce CRM skills
