Agropur is looking for a Distribution and Transportation Supervisor to join its team in Saint‑Laurent.

 

The Distribution and Transportation Supervisor coordinate the activities related to distribution and distributor agents within a specific territory. This role works closely with the shipping, sales, and customer service departments to coordinate daily dairy product deliveries to our customers. The supervisor maintains business relationships focused on stakeholder profitability while keeping a strong customer‑centric approach. The role also oversees distribution network movements and contributes to various improvement projects.

• Salary range 004: $73,000 to $91,200 (Base salary will be determined according to academic background, experience, training, and job‑related competencies.)

 

 

What’s involved in this role:

 

More specifically, the St-Laurent Distribution and Transportation Supervisor’s responsibilities will include:

 

• Planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the daily distribution activities of fresh products within their sector to meet operational objectives

• Leading optimization and innovation projects within operations and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

• Analyzing and filtering performance results for their sector, comparing them to departmental expectations, and presenting them to distributors (returns, pallet analysis, business reviews, etc.)

• Supporting initiatives related to information systems and helping identify solutions to operational issues

• Conducting cost analyses related to departmental profitability

 

 

What You Need to Join Our Team:

 

• College or university degree in a related field

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a distribution supervisor in a unionized environment

• Strong computer skills (Office Suite, SAP)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English (English required for working with colleagues from other Canadian provinces)
