Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Outreach
Manage innovative recruitment strategies, territories, and tactics to engage and interact with prospective students.
Coordinate recruitment activities and serve as a representative of the Brown School and Washington University during independent recruitment trips and in a variety of venues.
Develop and maintain proficient knowledge of programs, curriculum, faculty expertise, field education, accreditation, and admissions policies and procedures.
Generate leads and cultivate potential graduate students from initial inquiry through matriculation.
Serve as a knowledgeable, direct contact for prospective students; interpret policies and procedures and provide resources and guidance throughout the inquiry, application, and admissions process through various channels of communication.
Admissions Counseling and Applicant Evaluation
Advise and counsel students to assess fit with the Brown School and direction in the program based on goals and interests.
Maintain accurate prospective student records in the admissions CRM and assist with reporting needs.
Provide independent detailed review of admission materials and make substantive strategic judgments related to admission and scholarship.
Assist in coordinating the review process for admission, scholarship, and special programs.
Recruitment Planning and Strategy
Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute a recruitment plan to support enrollment goals.
Independently identify, implement, and assess recruitment strategies, territories, and tactics and provide analysis of recruitment efforts to leadership.
Cultivate positive relationships with campus colleagues, faculty, alumni, students, advisors, and other constituents integral to student recruitment efforts.
Build and maintain partnerships and affiliations to support recruitment efforts and outreach to target populations such as service corps members, veterans, and underrepresented minority groups.
Other projects and duties as assigned.
