Essential Functions/Key Deliverables  

  • Advise and support Production Manager to effectively manage stock levels in preparation of seasonal demand to maximize product sales.
  • Responsible for scheduling production lines to meet customer and forecasted demands.
  • Plan machine schedules yearly, quarterly, monthly, and weekly. 
  • Manage stock effectively to meet seasonal demands. 
  • Maintain high level of inventory accuracy.
  • Communicate the planning of production and/or stoppage of production lines to management. 
  • Assist planning team to organize timely delivery of goods to customers. 
  • Receive customer/work orders and ensure their completion using appropriate internal procedures. 
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of systems, including performing internal audits training as required.  
  • Receive /review orders and ensure their completion using appropriate internal procedures.
  • Manage capacity planning for production lines.
  • Effectively use SAP and computerized systems.
  • Maintain good relationships with cross-functional departments.
  • Assist with ensuring a high level of production schedule attainment.
  • Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience 

  • Associate’s degree in Supply Chain/Business Logistics or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Previous SAP experience a plus
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to draw conclusions from data.
  • MS Office including Excel experience.
  • Strong critical-thinking skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy and organization.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to function both independently and as part of a team; must be flexible and excited to grow with the organization.
