About the Role
The Continuous Improvement Lead will act as a lead change agent for lean process improvement implementations and projects within the organization. This position will foster a culture of continuous improvement and sustainment while facilitating and educating continuous improvement tools across the organization. Additionally this position is expected to work with the super user community (GPO Network), functional teams, Business Relationship Managers (BRMs), process owners & and other key stake holders during any new projects / business initiatives / template extensions/ and/or deployments that require process changes. 50% of the role will involve running/facilitating continuous improvement projects as prioritized by the business. 50% of the role will involve building a CI culture within the organization by conducting and supporting various CI training activities (i.e. CI Awareness sessions, Yellow Belt or Green Belt sessions, Supporting Kaizen implementations, etc.)
Main Accountabilities
Conduct/facilitate end-to-end process improvement projects using the standard Lean/CI tools and methodology.
Conduct discovery sessions with the business (i.e. SIPOC, HLVS, Process Mapping, etc.) to identify areas for improvement within the various processes.
Conduct analyses using various tools (i.e. Celonis, Open Text, ) and/or reporting capabilities (i.e. PowerBi) to support root cause analysis.
Assist the Manager to develop CI strategies for the site.
Conduct CI training sessions (CI Awareness, YB or GB) sessions to build a CI culture within the site.
Assist in building a mechanism or process whereby employees can submit continuous improvement ideas or opportunities.
Performance Measures
Successful identification, analysis, validation and implementation of business improvement Use Cases utilizing the various tools as necessary (i.e. process mining-Celonis).
Successful facilitation of various CI training courses (i.e. CI Awareness, Yellow Belt training, etc.)
Assist in development and implementation of the overall continuous improvement strategy
Identifying and facilitating a portfolio of continuous improvement initiatives using various workshop techniques/tools (i.e. SIPOC, Value Stream Mapping, Brainstorming sessions)
Skills and Experiences Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
Lean or Six Sigma training (preferably Green or Black Belt)
SAP experience Preferred.
General business process experience preferred, 2-5 years. Preferably in the P2P and/or O2C workstreams.
