Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level or Senior Supplier Program Manager to join our Executive Transportation and Surveillance (ET&S) team in Atlanta, Georgia!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical and business support to meet supplier performance targets.

  • Develops stakeholder relationships and evaluates performance throughout all contract phases.

  • Conducts supplier assessments.

  • Reviews current and projected work statement to support procurement strategies and contractual compliance.

  • Evaluates elements of recovery, corrective and preventative action plans.

  • Provides data to support the communication of supplier performance plans, risks, issues and opportunities.

  • Provides technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities.

  • Leads stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.

  • Conducts and guides supplier assessments.

  • Develops current and projected work statement.

  • Leads and establishes the basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plans.

  • Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.

  • Develops and executes work movement plans.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Shift Work:

This position is for 1st shift.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study).

  • 3+ years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements.

  • 1+ years of experience in Engineering and/or Program Management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management.

  • 3+ years of experience managing supplier performance.

  • 1+ years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.

Typical Education/Experience:

Level (3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.)

Level (4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary Pay Range:

Level (3): $91,800 - $113,400

Level (4): $110,500 - $136,500
