Life at Intel
The Control Systems Engineering team is seeking an experienced software application development engineer to design, develop, and support software control systems used to automate factory equipment in Intel's manufacturing facilities worldwide. In this role, you will be responsible for design, development, validation, and support of equipment automation software to enable platform and manufacturing technologies. The position requires the ability to independently manage work assignments and complete project lifecycle management (i.e., requirement analysis to deployment and support).
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Analyzing the customer requirements and designing software solutions to meet requirements.
Maintaining clear communication with customers and stakeholders.
Creating robust, reliable, and high-performance applications that satisfy all customer requirements.
Creating and running test suites to prove the functionality, reliability, and performance of the applications you develop.
Providing expert level support to factory technicians and process engineers on use of these applications
The candidate should also exhibit the following behavioral traits and/or skills:
Analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication skills.
Teamwork skills and collaboration skills.
Tolerance of ambiguity and self-motivation.
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
3+ years of experience in below areas:
Object Oriented Programming.
Software design and development.
Microsoft Windows platform using C# and .Net Framework.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SECS/GEM and 300mm SEMI standards for manufacturing automation (SEMI E37, E39, E40, E87, E90, E94, E116, E142) within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $113,130.00-220,120.00 USD
The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
