Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.

We build enterprise SSD hardware that powers critical data center workloads, and we take pride in delivering high-quality, AI-enabled products to customers. Our team works hands-on with ground breaking hardware, uncovering issues early and improving designs before they reach customers. If you enjoy solving complex problems across the full hardware stack, you’ll find meaningful impact here!

Your work spans NAND, DRAM, PCIe, and board-level systems, using Linux-based environments to test, debug, and automate. Your contributions directly influence final product quality and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Validate SSD hardware from bring-up through electrical and protocol characterization
  • Characterize power, performance, NAND, DRAM, PCIe, and chip-to-chip interfaces
  • Drive root cause analysis of hardware issues and partner with design teams on fixes
  • Build and maintain Linux-based validation environments and debug system-level failures
  • Develop Python tools to automate validation and improve data analysis

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with Linux administration, scripting, and system debug
  • Hands-on experience with lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes and analyzers
  • Experience bringing up or validating complex digital hardware systems
  • Python scripting for automation and data analysis

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with enterprise or data center SSDs
  • Validation experience across power, performance, NAND, DRAM, or PCIe
