Job Description

U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance (USBIF) is looking for an experienced finance leader with exceptional analytical & financial skills, superior organizational & project management skills and ability to influence and collaborate across functions to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team at USBIF. The candidate would have responsibility for the annual planning, forecasting, multi-year stress testing and analytics for the Affordable Housing line of business.

In addition, you would:

  • Collaborate with the Affordable Housing leadership team and FP&A to exceed financial performance for USBIF, supporting our overall strategy, positively impacting the community and brand recognition for US Bank
  • Expand the partnership with the Affordable Housing leaders whereby you’re a sought-after contributor /decision maker in the strategies the product area needs to execute to drive positive net income and increase our market share in the tax credit industry
  • Lead multiple reviews with the product area leadership, finance leaders, accounting and other partners, focused on key performance indicators, growth trajectory, credit quality metrics to minimize losses, and evolving legislative and industry changes impacting our financial outlook
  • Drive operational excellence by evaluating processes for improvements via automation, prioritization and elimination of redundancies, adaptable across FP&A, supporting a more robust response time to scenario analysis

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Six or more years of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Advanced knowledge of financial analysis concepts and methodologies
  • Considerable knowledge of accounting theory practice, regulatory requirements and reporting
  • Well-developed financial analysis, forecasting and planning skills
  • Management experience preferred
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to devise operational processes to support the Business Line’s strategic goals
  • Ability to make sound business decisions in a timely manner
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and adjust as needed in a high paced environment with time sensitive deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of people, building partnerships with key stakeholders

Location Expectations 
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $108,375.00 - $127,500.00 - $140,250.00
