Primary Job Function:

Develops Core Lab marketing strategies and execute activities to help Korea achieve market leadership and deliver differentiated value to its customers. He or She will promote Abbott solutions and make our value proposition tangible, and collaborate across the organization to maximize acquisition, value expansion and brand building initiatives with impact across the country

            

Core job Responsibilities:

Develop Marketing Strategy & Execute

  • Drives the overall execution of Abbott Core Lab solutions marketing plan taking into account global and area initiatives, country priorities and localization as needed.
  • Ensures strong alignment with area marketing and country leadership with periodic reviews.
  • Influences and trains country sales teams to ensure strategy and plan are understood and actioned.
  • Provides internal/external presentation
  • Collaborate with other functions like Comex, RA, MA as lead to advance initiatives.
  • Partners with Acquisition and VE teams to improve win rate, increase customer loyalty and value
  • Able to analyze market data, assess environmental trends and help generate insights
  • Visualize key strategic theme and develop marketing tools via congress and exhibition
  • Develops promotional materials aligned with corporate branding guideline.

Launch Excellence

  • Has strong experience launching new solutions in an agile, efficient way
  • Forecasts impact of launches and gains alignment on targets
  • Drives the development of country launch plans, ensuring they are relevant, realistic and robust – reflecting customer / market insights and area priorities.
  • Develop and execute on an account segmentation centric strategy.
  • Proactively engages sales teams to identify requirements for a successful launch – then partners to make it happen
  • Effectively tracks and takes responsibility for the impact of launches and adapts where required

Measurement & Financial Acumen

  • Ables to recommend pricing based on value and market situation
  • Actively tracks & shares progress toward goals, adapting where required

Customer Engagement & Execution

  • Drives development of KOLs and advocates
  • Uses a test-and-learn approach to try out different ways of connecting with and engaging our customers including digital means.
  • Works closely with the sales team to understand their needs, ensure they believe in our vision / strategy, and equip them to effectively engage with our customers.

Brand Building

  • Understands the importance of brand positioning and the role of insight in driving it
  • Provides analysis and support for the development of franchise positioning as required via market research and competitive analysis
  • Helps create effective messaging for sales teams to support them to deliver the franchise positioning
  • Executes activities in the market in line with the franchise positioning and global strategy, and monitors how well they are being implemented in the area

Budget monitoring and management for all marketing expenses and PR, APR, SSR, Office supply across the department

  • Planning and monitoring expenditure within budget plan
  • Expenditure control within internal regulation and KMDIA regulation
  • Declare to KMDIA for sponsorship for participation in Academic Conferences

Responsible for compliance audit process for CRDx commercial affiliates

  • Marketing material control in accordance with regulatory intelligence and specific focus area
  • Collaborate with CRDx site quality management
  • Quarterly transparency report to OEC

Educations:

  • Minimum education required: Bachelor’s degree.                                   
  • Minimum experience required: minimum 2-5 years field sales/marketing experience                        
  • Strategic thinking and excellent execution required.
