The Opportunity

This position works out of our Warsaw office in Poland in the Corporate Finance Services Division.

As the Accounts Payable Team Lead, you’ll have the chance to perform a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the organization's financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.

What You’ll Do 

  • Reconcile accounts, post journal entries, and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules so that the organization has a full and accurate statement of its financial position.

  • Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and accounting statements so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions.

  • Provide technical accounting advice within area of expertise to functional or operational areas managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities.

  • Provide onboarding trainings for new hires

  • Responsible for implementation of ERP systems

  • Coordinate and monitor the Account Payable team

  • Ensure efficient invoice flow and timely payment processing for suppliers

  • Identify and resolve issues related to the AP process

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with solid knowledge of accounting principles

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, including prior experience in a team lead or supervisory role within a shared services or corporate finance environment.

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar), including supporting system implementations, process improvements, or optimization initiatives.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

  • Ability to manage AP escalations, ensure accuracy and compliance, and communicate effectively in English in an international environment.
