Engineer - Identify Lifecycle Management

The Opportunity 

​​​​The Engineer - Identify Lifecycle Management is an entry-level position designed for individuals starting their career in identity lifecycle management. The role focuses on supporting SailPoint IIQ operations, performing QA testing, and resolving basic support tickets.​ This is an ​​individual contributor​ role. 

Working under guidance from senior developers. This is a hybrid remote and office-based role in Sri Lanka, aligning with the local job requirement guidelines (Primary shift: [7:30 PM-3:30 AM SLST, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM CDT] with flexibility). Most work is performed Monday through Friday virtually using collaboration tools and video conferencing. Our team has occasional on-call support.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • ​​Support & Troubleshooting: Triaging and resolving low-complexity tickets in the team’s queue 

  • ​​QA & Testing Support: Testing activities for new integrations, patches, and lifecycle changes 

  • ​​Development Support: Assisting with minor SailPoint IIQ configurations under guidance  

  • ​​Documentation & Learning: Documenting processes and actively build IAM knowledge​  

 

Requirements:  

  • ​​A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent practical experience 

  • ​​An advanced degree or IAM-related certifications 

  • ​​1–2+ years in IT or IAM (internships or coursework acceptable) 

  • ​Exposure to Java, SQL, or scripting languages a plus 

  • ​​Must be eager to learn and grow into IAM development 

  • ​Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities 

  • ​Team-oriented and detail-focused
