Job Description:
Softrams is seeking an experienced senior accountant to join our team. This position is critical in supporting multiple clients with all facets of operational accounting (GL, AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations) to include assisting in the preparation of the monthly financial package (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, etc.). Annual responsibilities include Incurred Cost Submission preparation, 1099 preparation, and assisting with year-end financial statements.
The senior accountant must be proficient in the use of automated accounting system software and spreadsheet applications, particularly Unanet, and QuickBooks, and have Project Accounting experience. CPA license preferred. The candidate shall have experience with Accounting, Timekeeping, and Expense Reporting for Government Contractors, and compliance with DCAA, FAR, DFARS, and CAS standards.
Work Location:
We have open-collaboration offices in Leesburg VA and Baltimore MD for those who may prefer to work on-site. However, Softrams is a 100% remote-first team environment. Softrams works in the eastern time zone and standard work hours are 9am ET to 5pm ET with flexibility around start and end times based on team needs.
