Responsibilities:

  • This role will be mainly responsible for managing Custody Operations related daily processes.
  • Applies working knowledge of technical and professional principles and concepts and in-depth knowledge of custody operations team objectives
  • Identifies any opportunity for implementation process improvements, and service or technology enhancements. Identifies control deficiencies and implement appropriate procedures for custody operations in general and asset servicing specific
  • Applies basic understanding of how own area integrates within own subject area, supports settlements, corporate actions, account maintenance and other units where and when applicable
  • Perform other duties as assigned, participate and contribute to systems and process related projects
  • Client instruction and securities transaction processing in accordance with prevailing market and Citi deadlines
  • Ensuring and further enhancing STP (Straight Through Processing) process.
  • Aligning with Risk and Controls procedures for daily activities.
  • Coordinate instruction processing issues to the appropriate department, timely escalation to clients and collaborate on a solution with all stakeholders
  • Reporting – preparing various reports (ad hoc as well as regular reports) for several stakeholders
  • Contributing to improvement of the quality and efficiency of assigned tasks and processes

Must have requirements:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in Custody / Transaction Management / Asset Servicing / Securities Services / Central Depository / CCP / Securities and Client Instruction Processing
  • Capital Market Boards Level 1 Licence
  • SWIFT system knowledge
  • This role requires daily communication in English
  • Ability to learn new and often complex things quickly
  • Strong creativity, innovation, problem solving skills
  • Willingness to develop, learn and share knowledge with others
