Part-Time Veterinary Physiotherapy Assistant

Reporting to: Head of Physiotherapy

Hours: Thursday and Friday (20 hours/week)

Anderson Moores is a truly multidisciplinary team providing specialist-led referral services across the South of England. Our services include Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery, Cardiology, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Physiotherapy and Diagnostic Imaging. You will be assisting our team of veterinary physiotherapists in caring for our patients with a wide variety of complex neurological and orthopaedic conditions.

About the role:

If you are motivated to provide high quality care to cats and dogs, we have a vacancy for a part-time physiotherapy assistant. You should be passionate, dedicated and strive to maintain the highest standards with exemplary animal handling skills. This post would be ideal for a new graduate from a veterinary physiotherapy programme who has a passion for referral level small animal physiotherapy who would like the support of an experienced team of veterinary physiotherapists and referral specialists as they develop their skills in the field.

This post may also be suitable for a final year veterinary physiotherapy student wishing to gain experience in a specialist referral environment or applicants with exceptional animal handling skills with an interest in rehabilitation. Formal training will be provided.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the care of inpatients and outpatients receiving physiotherapy
  • Maintenance and cleanliness of the physiotherapy areas and equipment
  • Associated administration
  • Other general duties to support the physiotherapy team
