The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Sales Representative for 3M Abrasive Systems Division in Sweden, you will be working with one of the strongest abrasive brands in the world being responsible of ensuring sales growth of our abrasive portfolio especially within our revolutionary and innovative brands like 3MTM CubitronTM 3 and 3MTM Scotch-briteTM. 

You will be part of a North European 3M ASD organization of 30 people of which 3 colleagues are located in Sweden. You will be reporting to the Nordic Sales Manager, who is located in Denmark.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Lead and develop you own territory and create your pipeline of opportunities through interactions with relevant B2B end users predominantly within the metal industry.
  • Specify 3M abrasive solutions for Robotic and automation applications.
  • Develop and maintain market, industry and product knowledge.
  • Engage in and proactively support any national ASD (Abrasive Systems Division) marketing promotions or sales programs.
  • Create close working relationships with 3M channel partners and their sales organisations to built agreed call plans to relevant end users, as well as support on jointly agreed 3M promotional activities

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Pro-active, results focused self-starter with a passion for sales and exceeding targets.
  • Organized with ability to work with others as well as alone to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication, questioning and listening skills
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in industrial markets
  • Strong English language skills – verbal and written

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include

  • Good standard of education
  • IT literate - Proficient in use of IT tools, Excel, Word, Powerpoint. Salesforce.com
  • Knowledge in metal industry

Location: Sweden, preferably in the south of the Country

Travel: The role will require to spend majority of time on the field visiting customer (may include up to 2-3 overnights per month). For administrative activities, it will be Home based. A Company car will be provided for this role.
