The Information Security Engineer will be responsible for managing our deployment of Palo Alto’s SaaS Prisma container security solution. The role involves daily maintenance, troubleshooting, assisting with policy management, and the onboarding of new container workloads. The ideal candidate will have a working understanding of automated build pipelines and be able to integrate security solutions with tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, JFrog X-Ray, Black Duck, Ansible, and Terraform.

This engineer will be responsible for maintaining the Palo Alto Prisma Cloud container security solution as well as the onboarding of new workloads and providing support for all governance and audit related tasks. Specific activities this position is expected to perform are:

• Provide on-call support for P1/P2 events
• Provision, maintain, and support platform auth controls (RBAC, SAML/SSO, CyberArk, etc)
• Provision, configure, and deploy agents for workloads and their associated hosting models
  • ECS with AWS Batch
  • Lambda, AppRunner
  • Fargate with EKS
  • Fargate with ECS w/AWS Batch
• Troubleshoot & remediate cloud app agent issues
• Troubleshoot & remediate agent and platform issues
• Troubleshoot & remediate log and event ingestion issues
• Onboard new users, container workloads, and other ancillary items as required
• Build, maintain, and support onboarding of new build & deployment pipelines
• Build, maintain, and support system integrations (ServiceNow, CyberArk, SIEM, Securonix, Artifactory, Jenkins, etc)
• Assist with troubleshooting & remediation of policy violations upon request
• Assist with the creation, maintenance, and support of policies upon request
• Create and maintain alerts, utilization reports, and platform health monitoring
  • Realtime deployment monitoring & alerting
  • Platform and agent health monitoring & alerting
  • Platform and agent performance monitoring & alerting
• Support governance and audit related documentation requests
• Compile and provide agent compliance metrics
• Provide SPOC for vendor risk assessments & outage notification
• Particpate in container security strategy & roadmap discussions
• Develop & execute/lead projects ensuring platform currency and product security
• Manage the vendor support relationship
